Privacy Policy
This notice explains what MobileX POD collects when you visit this website or contact us, how we use it, and how to make a privacy request.
Last updated:
1. Who we are
MobileX POD is the brand of Shenzhen MobileX Technology Co., Ltd., registered in Shenzhen, China. The company is responsible for the handling of personal information described here.
Factory, office and showroom: No. 22 Yuhe Road, Dongshan Village, Qishi Town, Dongguan, Guangdong, China.
For privacy questions or requests, email nick@mobilex-pod.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. You do not need to make a product enquiry.
2. Information you give us
Our enquiry form requires your name, email address, product interest, quantity and destination country, and an agreement to use your information to respond. Company name, WhatsApp or phone details, a drawing or reference link, and project details are optional. You can contact us by email instead of using the form.
We also receive information in email and WhatsApp messages and during business follow-up. A colleague contacting us on your behalf can provide your business contact details and role.
Please send only information relevant to your project. Do not include patient records, payment-card details, identity documents or unrelated personal information. Check the contents and sharing permissions of any file you link to.
3. Website information and statistics
Our hosting and security services process technical request information, including IP addresses, browser information, requested pages and times, to deliver and protect the website.
Our own statistics record visited pages, referring sources, campaign information, browser and device information, language, time zone, approximate country signals, and interactions such as contact clicks, downloads and form outcomes. Country signals are not a precise location.
These statistics use hashed IP, visitor and session identifiers. They are not completely anonymous: a submission reference can link a successful form event to the saved enquiry. An enquiry also records its source pages and campaign information.
4. How we use information
- To answer questions, understand requirements and prepare quotations.
- To follow up on projects, communicate about orders and provide business support.
- To send related product updates, offers and other promotions, including beyond your original project, where we have the consent required by applicable rules or meet other applicable conditions for that communication.
- To keep business records, address disputes and meet applicable legal obligations.
- To operate and protect the website and measure website and advertising performance.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we use information to take steps you request before a contract or to perform a contract. Handling enquiries through company representatives, keeping business records and protecting the website also involves our legitimate interests, subject to your rights. Some records must be retained to meet legal obligations. Where consent is required for optional tracking or marketing, it must be separate from permission to answer an enquiry.
Submitting an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. The enquiry checkbox authorises us to respond to your enquiry; it is not marketing consent. We do not treat earlier enquiry permissions as permission for unrelated promotions.
To stop promotional messages, reply to the message or email nick@mobilex-pod.com and ask us to stop marketing. We will stop promotions to you. Necessary quotation, order and after-sales communications can continue; they are separate from marketing. We can retain a limited record of your objection to avoid contacting you for marketing again.
5. Enquiries and follow-up
We save valid website enquiries in a private WordPress record and send an internal email notification. The record includes the information you submit, its source, the submission time, your enquiry permission and a reference. Website administrators can review saved enquiries.
Our team uses email and our internal customer-management system, ResiNav CRM, to follow up on enquiries. CRM records contain business contact and project details, communication history, source and follow-up status. Website enquiries, email correspondence and CRM entries are kept separately.
6. Tracking tools and your current choices
The site uses our own statistics, Google Analytics 4 and Jetpack Stats to measure website use. Their code is included when pages load, rather than waiting for a form submission. Website loading of Google Ads and TikTok Pixel remains stopped; this does not delete data previously collected by those services. Jetpack Stats has resumed for new visits; visits during its pause were not backfilled.
Our scripts use browser storage for visitor and session identifiers and source information. Google Analytics also processes visit and interaction information, identifiers and technical browser or network information. Cookies and similar technologies are part of this processing.
The website currently has no on-page control to accept or reject these optional statistics and advertising tools. Browser settings can block or clear cookies and site storage. This does not delete earlier server records or stop every script or server-side collection. New records can be created on later visits.
For provider choices and information, see Google’s partner-site privacy information. The Google Analytics opt-out add-on works in supported desktop browsers; it does not control the site’s other tools.
7. Service providers and international processing
Hostinger provides our website hosting and enquiry email transport. Our internal CRM is also hosted on Hostinger infrastructure. Hosting services handle stored website or CRM information and technical requests; email services handle messages and delivery information.
Google provides the analytics service described above. Automattic’s Jetpack provides site services with content and system-information synchronisation. Its synchronisation can include an enquiry’s reference and basic record information; this is separate from visit statistics.
Staff handling your enquiry use the information needed for their work. Service providers involved in an order, such as delivery providers, need the information required for their part of the service. Information can also be disclosed where required by law or needed to address a legal claim.
Our business operates in China. Our hosting, email and other providers operate internationally, so processing is not limited to one country. Contact us for information about the providers handling your data and the safeguards applicable to your request.
8. Retention and deletion
Website enquiries and our own statistics currently remain stored unless manually removed; there is no automatic expiry covering these records. Email, CRM entries and backups are separate from the website enquiry store. Removing a website record does not remove those copies.
We have adopted a quarterly review policy and are putting it into operation. Reviews assess business relevance, information accuracy, marketing preferences and the specific need to keep records. A long period without contact does not by itself trigger deletion, but it does not justify indefinite retention either. Information that is no longer needed is to be removed, subject to applicable retention obligations.
You can request deletion using the contact address above. Deletion needs to cover the systems holding your information, not just the website record. Active orders, support needs, legal or accounting obligations and disputes can require some information to be retained. Backups and provider logs are handled separately; deleting a live record does not instantly erase every backup copy.
9. Your privacy requests
Email nick@mobilex-pod.com to request access, correction or deletion, object to marketing, or raise a concern. Tell us which interaction your request concerns. We can ask for proportionate information to verify your request, but please do not send identity documents unless needed.
Depending on the law that applies, you can also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive portable information, withdraw consent or complain to a data-protection authority. These rights have conditions and exceptions. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. We will explain relevant limits when responding.
10. External services
When you choose WhatsApp, WhatsApp also handles your message and contact information under its own terms and privacy notice. Social links and other external services have their own data practices. You can use our privacy email contact instead of WhatsApp.
11. Security and updates
The website uses HTTPS. Saved website enquiries are private and access is restricted to website administrators. Access controls, input checks and anti-abuse measures help protect information, but no website or email system can guarantee absolute security.
We update this notice when our practices change. The date at the top identifies this version.
