Meeting Booth Prices: Compare MobileX Models and Build an Early Project Budget
For an early meeting booth budget, MobileX POD's published reference EXW prices are USD 2,380 for MP2 and USD 3,650 for MP3. Single-person alternatives start at USD 1,380 for MP1 and USD 1,650 for MP1+. These are model references, not a market-wide price range or a fixed delivered-and-installed quotation. First choose a configuration that supports the work; then add the separately confirmed costs of getting it ready at your site.
The reference figures below were checked against MobileX's published manufacturer data on 10 September 2026. That check is not a new price offer or a validity extension. Obtain a dated quotation for your quantity, configuration and destination before committing a budget.

Start with the same model data
Keep price, intended use and external dimensions together. A lower unit price does not settle whether the selected model fits the task, and a larger exterior does not establish usable internal space or comfort.
Compare model data and reference EXW prices.
| Model | Intended use to evaluate | External dimensions | Reference weight | Reference packing volume | Reference EXW price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| MP1 Office Pod | One-person calls and individual work | 1000 x 1000 x 2200 mm | 360 kg | 2 CBM | USD 1,380 |
| MP1+ Phone Booth | A wider single-person configuration | 1200 x 1200 x 2200 mm | 410 kg | 2.5 CBM | USD 1,650 |
| MP2 Meeting Booth | Two-person meetings and interviews | 2000 x 1000 x 2200 mm | 520 kg | 4 CBM | USD 2,380 |
| MP3 Meeting Booth | Four-person discussions and small-team work | 2000 x 1600 x 2200 mm | 650 kg | 4 CBM | USD 3,650 |
The prices and external dimensions correspond to the MobileX manufacturer data page. Weight and packing-volume references are retained from the model information in this guide. They are not a final packed-shipment specification or a handling instruction. Obtain the actual package count, outside dimensions and gross weights for the quoted order before booking freight or arranging lifting.
The previous model references list packing sizes of 1150 x 760 x 2380 mm for MP1, 1350 x 760 x 2380 mm for MP1+, and 2150 x 760 x 2380 mm for MP2 and MP3. Do not assume these describe every package in every configuration. The shipment packing list controls the transport plan; rounded CBM references do not replace it.
Choose a shortlist before comparing the price difference
MP1 or MP1+: one person. Start with the actual call or desk task. MP1+ has greater external width and depth in the reference table, but that does not prove a particular chair, monitor or working posture fits. Ask for the proposed internal layout, furniture and door operation. A larger model may be useful if it resolves a specific requirement; the price difference alone is not evidence of greater comfort or suitability for longer sessions.
MP2 or MP3: meetings. Compare the number of people in the usual session, the equipment they use and whether a shared table is needed. Do not select four-person capacity simply because four people might occasionally attend, or choose two-person capacity solely because the price is lower. Review how the proposed setup works for normal meetings and how occasional larger discussions would be handled. The two-person versus four-person guide develops that decision; the model pages provide the product detail.
Open the specifications for MP1, MP1+, MP2 and MP3 when checking the shortlist. Confirm internal dimensions, the actual furniture arrangement and the installation route rather than treating the external dimensions as clear workspace.
Make the configuration comparable
MobileX's standard office-pod information describes an aluminum-alloy frame, galvanized-steel panels, tempered glass, acoustic interior materials, ventilation, lighting and electrical options. A component description is not a complete bill of supply. Ask the quotation to identify the selected model and the furniture, sockets, lighting, ventilation and finish included in its reference configuration.
The manufacturer data page distinguishes single-person desk-and-chair discussions from furniture accessories for larger booths. Screens, network requirements, USB or Type-C interfaces, different sockets, branding and interior changes should be explicitly identified in the proposed configuration. A photo with furniture or a display does not establish that those items are included in the price.
For a useful comparison, give both proposals the same task and equipment brief. If one includes a table and the other does not, show that difference before deciding which is cheaper. If a proposed option replaces something in the base configuration, ask for that relationship to be made clear; do not automatically add both amounts.
For a detailed scope review, use Custom Modular Pod Quotes: Separate the Base Scope, Options and Unresolved Items. Here, the purpose is to assemble a usable early budget, not to reproduce the whole quotation checklist.
Build the budget beyond the reference EXW figure
Use the unit reference as one line, not as the project total. Ask the quotation to state the agreed trade term, named place and included services. Do not infer loading, export handling, destination charges or installation from the letters EXW alone in a comparison spreadsheet. Obtain the actual scope from the quoting parties.
The following is a blank buyer worksheet, not a MobileX quotation. Keep every unresolved amount visibly unresolved rather than treating it as zero.
Build a provisional project budget without double counting.
| Budget line | Amount and currency | Evidence needed | How to avoid double counting |
|---|---|---|---|
| Selected pod configuration and quantity | ______ | Dated quotation, model and included configuration | Use the selected configuration once; distinguish a unit price from the order total |
| Changes and separately selected equipment | ______ | Priced options or equipment supplier quotation | Identify replacements versus additions |
| Packing and origin services | ______ | Packing scope and responsibilities in the quotation | Mark anything already included in the pod or freight line |
| Freight and destination charges | ______ | Transport quotation for actual shipment and destination | Check which charges another party's quote already covers |
| Local delivery, access and installation work | ______ | Site-specific contractor or service quotation | Separate unloading, internal movement, assembly and connections |
| Taxes, currency assumptions and unresolved items | ______ | Applicable local advice, dated assumptions and open-item list | Do not add a tax twice or silently convert an unknown item to zero |
Only total amounts expressed on a consistent currency and tax basis. Label estimates separately from firm quoted amounts, and note their dates. Where a service is included elsewhere, record that inclusion rather than adding an allowance again. A total with open items is a provisional subtotal, not the confirmed cost of an operational installation.
Test two plausible project choices
Suppose a buyer is considering one MP3 meeting setup or two MP2 setups. This is a hypothetical planning choice, not a recommendation or a customer result. One proposal supports a larger shared meeting; the other may support separate simultaneous sessions. The reference unit prices can provide an initial arithmetic comparison, but the two proposals do not deliver identical functions.
First decide which pattern of meetings matters. Then compare the quoted furniture and equipment, the number of connections and installation positions, and the actual delivery scope. Do not divide the price by a nominal seat count and call the result the best value. A nominal seat that cannot support the intended task is not an equivalent resource.
Keep performance and timing separate from the price table
The model price does not certify a particular acoustic result at your site. If speech privacy matters, request the applicable test documentation and configuration, and use the site-specific privacy review guide. Do not make a budget decision by treating a promotional dB figure as a confidentiality guarantee.
Sample or pilot orders can be discussed. The manufacturer data page retains indicative production timing, but the actual order needs a confirmed specification, production basis and delivery plan. This price guide does not promise a dispatch date, arrival date or installation slot. Confirm the quantity, price validity, payment arrangements and support scope in the actual quotation or contract.
Request the next level of budget detail
Send the shortlisted model or task, quantity, destination, furniture and equipment needs, preferred finish, electrical requirements and target site-ready date. Include a plan if access or room fit could change the selection. State whether you need a pod-supply figure, a transport quotation, local-work information or a combination.
Request a MobileX project quotation with those details. A useful response should let you see the selected configuration, what the quoted amount includes and which remaining costs must be obtained from another party before the budget is approved.
